Wasn't I just celebrating my 16th birthday a few months ago? Ten years goes by so fast.
This does not mean that I am dreading my birthday. You know me, birthdays are my thing. I think they should be a huge deal, full of presents, and surprises, and no cleaning or chores, or work. In my mind, it is a day to celebrate with family and friends, if possible, and do something out-of-the-ordinary.
I am definitely not dreading becoming 26, I am just a little in shock that I am going to be 26. That sounds old. My brothers are 20 and 22; that seems so young, you know, since I am at the mature age of 26.
I have never really dreaded my birthday, mostly because I don't think of the age, just the party.
What about you? Has their been a birthday that you just dreaded? What age was it?

Heather I always dread your b-day...not because you're getting older though. It just happens to be shared with the sugar loaded-make your teacher go crazy-give me more-no thank you holiday. Thank goodness it's on a Saturday!

actually it has been said that either 30, 40 or 50 will be the birthday that really effects you....i think for me it was 50. you have a long ways to go heather!!!!
not dreaded any birthday's yet but the big 3-0 is about 2.5 months away and that's weird....
so what are you doing this year for yours??
35. Because it's less than 10 years away and that's 'late-summer' of your life! Plus no one will be pumped about it because it's not 30, 40 or 50.

ry turns 30 Dec 5th. =) maybe he dreads that....even though he says 'age is just a number'.
I don't dread any bdays, only because everyone here is older than me already. hahaa
Heather!!! Happy Birthday Soon! This year was the first year I didnt want a birthday at all. I still got amazing presents so that helps, but I was pretty down in the dumps for the day. I feel old. Im 27. Oh yeah, and Im pregnant again :) Miss you!!!

21 is no where near as cool as 26
