But now we have a kid (and a half) and its a whole different story. Cant really do anything without preparing for it the night before and cant leave the kid unless you have a babysitter. All of this being said, as much stress the little kiddos bring.....they also bring SO MUCH more completeness and happiness into our home and family that it makes up for all the rest. I think about the easier days, but I would never trade it in for what I have now! :) I hope you have a fabulous Christmas!!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17062431983582780712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3609525135157388124.post-38151881509759587202009-12-14T12:25:30.632-06:002009-12-14T12:25:30.632-06:00ha ha I'm laughing at jake's post. :) I t...ha ha I'm laughing at jake's post. :) I totally understand what you're talking about, I feel it when I go on a date with Mitch, or having the house to myself for one day. It's less work but the work is worth it ( a break is nice sometimes forsure) for being married, and especially the kid aspect. You give up a lot but gain so much more.Audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03035522358696415150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3609525135157388124.post-80580317151137740642009-12-14T11:48:49.894-06:002009-12-14T11:48:49.894-06:00Make me an Uncle!!! I don't know how to explain it, other than through lots of prayers and God's guidance and reliance!<br />Best of luck to you in this "awkward" stage. Will be praying for you guys!MamaOnTheRun33https://www.blogger.com/profile/09962541174926767822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3609525135157388124.post-48873299722377601322009-12-14T00:01:24.348-06:002009-12-14T00:01:24.348-06:00You're SO right - I remember feeling that way ...You're SO right - I remember feeling that way b/w marriage and kids. But enjoy it - really. It's like they always tell kids "don't be in such a hurry to grow up."<br /><br />And hey - about the dentist post - I have thought about what you wrote all the time and I think that's so neat that he was able to diagnose that little kid! Who knew you could find a non-dental disease by your dentist! Go Richard! I LOVE going to the dentist so I've wanted my kids to have a good first experience so that they'll like it too....but now I see it in a whole new light.
